Early Morning Hours Service: Available to established patients only for acutely sick child in am. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointment necessary, Cordova office only, 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM, Mon.-Fri. only. Pediatric Associates, P.A. charges a $50 convenience fee to open early morning hours.
Not available for complex or chronic problems.

After Hours Service: Available at Cordova office only. Mon.-Fri. evenings 5:15 pm (until last requested appointment). Sat. 9 am to 12 noon. Sun. 9 am to 12 noon.

This Service is designed for the acutely ill child, but a limited number of weekday evening appointments are reserved for well child care and chronic problems. Pediatric Associates, PA, charges a nominal fee ($50) to cover After Hours Services.

IMPORTANT: In order to sign the required informed consent for immunizations, PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN must accompany a child receiving immunizations.

APPOINTMENTS: Make an appointment by calling any of our office locations during regular hours. At our Cordova location a receptionist will answer shortly to make your appointment. Pace is open Mon.-Fri. as our premier Walk-in clinic.

We make every effort to make an appointment with the doctor of your choice. Our doctors see patients at 2 office locations, so you may see your preferred doctor sooner with an appointment at an office location different than your usual one. Most of our patients have developed a first choice and a second choice doctor, which allows them the ability to see one or the other at the location of their choice, at the time most convenient to them.

We try very hard to stay on schedule though with illness it is often difficult to be precise on the amount of time needed for a patient. We view it reasonable if you are seen 20 or 30 min. later than your appointment. Complaints should be directly to your doctor if you feel you have waited unreasonably long. Please come at your appointed time so that we may stay on schedule. Patients on time for appointments will have priority. If a hospital emergency delays a doctor we try to call patients with later appointments to reschedule. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call to cancel. An appointment you do not keep is an appointment that is not available to someone else's ill child. Each year there are over 500 patient appointments missed in our 3 offices causing a delay in our availability to see sick children on same day appointments. If appointments are missed, we charge a $50 fee. Should you miss 2 appointments, Pediatric Associates, P.A. will release your children from our practice.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please tell the nurse or appointment desk the exact reason why you want the doctor to see your child. Any information you share with any of our office personnel is kept confidential. DO NOT request a CHECK-UP if you have a specific problem that you want the doctor to address. Check-up appointments must be made seperate or with a follow up visit so we can allow the alloted time. Please do not request a check-up at the time you bring your child into the office for a follow-up visit. If you ask for a check-up at the time you make your appointment for follow-up, we can always accommodate you.
It is our desire to keep you happy. We will always try to arrange an appointment with the health care provider of your choice at Pediatric Associates. There are those times when your health care provider may not be available or may be fully appointed. In these circumstances, we encourage you to try one of the other doctors in the group. Styles may vary, but our goals are the same. The promotion of your child’s excellent health is most important to all health care providers.
